Stephen Birdsall is a long-time Alaskan who works as an electrical contractor, ski area operator, and hotel manager. He and Brenda drove to Alaska in 1976, making it their home and raising their sons, Ryan and Troy who live nearby and also help with the businesses. He enjoys construction and remodeling old buildings. His two most satisfying jobs have been the construction of the chair lift at Mt. Aurora SkiLand in 1991-92 and the relocation and remodel of
Mt. Aurora Fairbanks Creek Lodge
in 96-97. He enjoys star-watching, aurora viewing, hunting, fishing, bird-watching and his family.
Brenda Birdsall is a long-time Alaskan who is a licensed Physical Therapist. This is a part-time position so that she can spend time with her family and help run the family business. She finds enjoyment in cooking and baking for both the Ski area and
Mt. Aurora Fairbanks Creek Lodge. Other hobbies are outdoor activities which include hiking, biking, alpine and cross-country skiing.
Brenda
Daisy is our resident greeter. A 6-year old golden retriever she loves to play ball and all the attention the guests give her. Daisy is always ready to be the guide for a small walk, day hike or a cross-country ski trek.
